There are already many precedents of studios finally hiring talented modders to reinforce their development teams.

Despite the many finishing problems at the time of the release of Cyberpunk 2077 - especially on the console version of the game - the studio CD Projekt RED tried to maintain a certain link with its community as evidenced by the existence of a Cyberpunk Discord server 2077 Modding with over 20 members.

CD Projekt RED has also decided to integrate some of the most talented into its development teams. Well, not quite: they will be integrated into Yigsoft, a structure that will work in close collaboration with CD Projekt RED.

Among the modders thus concerned we find Hambalkó Bence, better known under the nickname Traderain. He would obviously be in charge of the Yigsoft structure, supported by another modder, Nightmarea. Other names have filtered in to complete the team and we notably mention modders Blumster or rfuzzo. Hambalkó Bence explains “We will be working on several projects related to the Cyberpunk backend and in-game mod support”. We are obviously curious to see the result of this association.
