Electronic Arts banned over 10 players from FIFA Mobile just before the Teams of the Season promotion hit mobile.
Just before the Teams of the Season (TOTS) promotion dropped in FIFA Mobile, developer and publisher Electronic Arts banned over 10 FIFA Mobile players. These players have been suspended for three weeks, which means they will miss the TOTS promotion and therefore some of the most powerful cards available. Players banned from FIFA Mobile are, according to EA, in violation of the rules.

According to the rules linked in the Tweet, cheating may constitute, but is not limited to: "using external tools, performing in-game exploits, and abusing glitches or bugs."

In the rules, EA explains, โGames are at their best when everyone can play on a level playing field. Cheating, phishing, hacking, or anything else that gives you a competitive edge ruins everyone's experience and affects game balance.
Unfortunately, it seems that many FIFA Mobile players are confused about their ban, calling on EA to provide them with the exact reason.

People suspended for breaking the rules and cheating in AI matches will of course not be able to participate in the promotion, which probably hurts a lot more than a three-week break from the game.
