For several days, users of Xbox consoles have reported technical problems encountered in game. Indeed, their machine can sometimes return to the main menu without warning or even turn off on its own.
This is a problem that Microsoft would have done without. On September 14, the Xbox Support Twitter account said it was aware of the malfunction of its consoles on NBA 2K22. Players were complaining about their Xbox returning to the home screen without their consent or, in the most extreme cases, suddenly shutting down (see video below). Soon a solution?
Now, users are victims of the same phenomenon but on other games. In the list, we find for example the beta of Call of Duty: Vanguard but also Halo: The Master Chief Collection, FIFA 22 (available in early access) and Madden NFL 22.
Microsoft's technical teams have clarified that they have taken note of the latest elements and are continuing their investigation.
Personally, I myself was affected by this malfunction when launching Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X. The latter shut down quickly after launching the game. In short, this problem is probably not isolated.
