The gaming branch of Microsoft is definitely not experiencing the crisis and, on the contrary, recorded the best financial year in its history, in particular thanks to the Xbox Series X| S.
Xbox has indeed shared figures for the year 2021 in sharp increase compared to the yet already very lucrative year 2020.

Daniel Ahmad, a specialist in the field, presented on his Twitter account a graph highlighting this record financial year for the gaming branch of the Redmond firm.
Xbox would thus have recorded an exorbitant annual revenue of $2021 million in 16,28, a significant increase of 17,07% compared to the results of 2020. Among the main players in this impressive increase: the sale of Xbox Series X| S, which would have passed since their launch to more than 12 million copies. Hardware revenues thus experienced an astronomical increase of 63,3% compared to 2020, to reach $3,7 billion.
The new generation Xbox consoles would also be, according to Microsoft's admission, those selling the fastest, all generations of Xbox consoles combined. The reason lies in particular behind a very high demand due to the sanitary measures against the coronavirus.
Another important player in this record result: revenues from content and services increased by 8,8% to reach $12,6 billion. This great increase is due in particular to a constantly growing number of Game Pass subscribers.
In light of the real bomb dropped recently by Microsoft, which acquired Activision Blizzard, one can legitimately wonder if the years to come will manage to exceed these already astronomical revenues.
