World War Z: Aftermath, a more complete edition of the zombie game, will be released in September

More than two years after its initial release, the video game World War Z will receive a version entitled Aftermath. More complete, the latter will bring new content.

The video game adaptation of World War Z takes up the theme of the feature film with its impressive hordes of zombies to knock out with friends. Indeed, the title is playable in cooperation with up to four players and cross-play is also required between the versions intended for consoles and that available on PC. In a few weeks, the title developed by Saber Interactive will return via a brand new edition.

Thus, in World War Z: Aftermath, players will have access to new missions taking place within the city of the Vatican, but also at the level of a snowy plain in Russia. Additional moves and skills will also be included. Added to these new features are the ability to use two-handed weapons and a reworked melee combat system. A new character class called Vanguard (and its electric shield) has also been added.

So World War Z: Aftermath will be released on September 21 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will also be available in physical version only on consoles. The sale price is set at 39,99 euros and owners of the base game will be able to get the upgrade for 19,99 euros. On PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, the software will be playable in 4K at 60 fps. Finally, the original World War Z game is coming to Nintendo Switch this fall.
