Available since November 11, GTA The Trilogy did not really receive the expected reception…

A few days ago, the game was even removed from the Rockstar Games Launcher, yet another proof of a disastrous launch?

GTA The Trilogy back on PC

Launched on November 11 on consoles and PC, GTA The Trilogy is not unanimous among players, disappointed by a wobbly remaster and (very) many bugs. On PC, the game has even been temporarily removed from the Rockstar Games Launcher, to allow Rockstar Games to correct the situation.

The game is back today, and the publisher explains: "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition has been updated and is once again available via the Rockstar Games Launcher to be played and purchased". These are obviously files related to music removed from the soundtrack, as well as various mentions of Hot Coffee content, which posed a problem.

A tumultuous launch for this compilation which brings together the three major GTAs launched in the early 2000s, a time during which Rockstar Games was particularly respected and respectable. It remains to be seen now whether the launch of GTA V on PS5 and Xbox Series X (in March 2022) will go smoothly…
