This is an announcement that many players are waiting for. Rumors around a remake of Resident Evil 4 hovering for several months and one more clue has just been added to the list.

In April 2020, the always well-informed site VGC told us that Resident Evil 4 Remake had been in development since 2018. According to these sources, the project would bring together teams who were at work on Devil May Cry 5 and on the Resident Evil remake. 2. But in recent weeks, no more information has reached our ears. However, Sony seems to have taken the time to teaser the game very discreetly…

A symbole qui en dit long ?

Last Thursday, the Japanese manufacturer held its PlayStation Showcase. Opening the event, a new ad from the Play Has No Limits campaign was released by the brand. In the middle of a life-size chess game, Sony had fun scattering various elements from its biggest licenses. At minute 1:33, fans noticed a logo on a wall. This is that of Las Plagas, the parasite that wreaks havoc in Resident Evil 4.

When it was launched in 2005, the game was however exclusive to the GameCube. Did Sony and Capcom come together in order to design this remake or is it just a simple blink of an eye? To be continued…
