Update : As expected, the teams behind Skate 4 have just shared a short video on social media. This excerpt focuses on motion capture sessions recorded with real skateboarders. Unfortunately, no gameplay images have been released. We'll have to settle for that for now.

The big event of the week will take place on the side of Electronic Arts. Indeed, the American publisher will organize its conference EA Play Live to take stock of what's new. But some games will obviously remain in the closet.

It is this Thursday, July 22 at 19:00 p.m. Paris time that the 2021 edition of EA Play Live will be broadcast. On this occasion, the publisher will present various productions such as FIFA 22 and Battlefield 2042. “Surprises” could also illuminate this evening… Rumors evoke in particular the formalization of a remake of the first Dead Space.

A logical absence

Like Dragon Age 4 and the upcoming Mass Effect, another highly anticipated title won't show up this week. This is Skate 4, the announcement of which dates back to June 2020. On Twitter, we learn that the creation of the studio in charge of the project dates back to last January. The development is therefore just beginning, but the teams behind this fourth episode promise “a little something” for this Monday, July 19.

Finally, remember that no Star Wars game will be announced during this same EA Play Live. The show will last approximately 40 minutes and all major announcements will of course be available on JVFR.
