In development since 2016, the FPS horror from Serbian studio Ebb Software seems locked in a nightmare worthy ofAlien and sees its release postponed to 2022.

It is through the Kickstarter page of the project exclusive to the Microsoft ecosystem that the studio shares some news with the contributors, after a long and heavy radio silence.

Lost in the twists and turns of horror

Drawing heavily on the works of HR Giger on the Alien franchise and Zdzisław Beksiński, Ebb Software's intriguing project was due for an October release announcement. We learned this weekend that the development of the game, in the making for five years, turned out to be particularly complicated. So much so that the Serbian team needs to postpone the game to 2022 in order to refine the formula and resolve some issues beyond its control.

As a result, the studio wearing both the developer and publisher caps has indicated that a more specific announcement regarding the release of Scorn will take place on December 10. If the heavy silence persists in these corridors mixing flesh and machines on this date, Ebb Software ensures to say more soon.

The mystery concerning Scorn therefore remains intact, even if a long sequence of gameplay had been presented almost a year ago. Anyway, the gestation of the horrific FPS from Ebb Software seems to be approaching its end and we should see it land in the flesh on PC (via Steam) and Xbox Series X | S during 2022.
