Red Dead Online is completely neglected by Rockstar Game, and players are starting to get annoyed

10 months. It's been 10 months since Rockstar Games released any content updates for Red Dead Online, the multiplayer component of Red Dead Redemption 2. Tired of waiting, the players organize themselves to be heard by the publisher.

Since the game was released at the start of 2019, Rockstar had accustomed its apprentice bandits from the Great West to at least two major updates per year. However, since last July, they no longer have anything to put in their mouths.

A media campaign to save Red Dead Online

Rockstar Games only has eyes for GTA, and RDR2 fans are starting to get annoyed. Since last January, a campaign called #SaveRedDeadOnline has been organized to try to be heard by the publisher.

With several tens of thousands of messages (already 18 in January), the hashtag has not however attracted the attention of Rockstar Games, which has still not deigned to communicate on the future of Red Dead Online.

The only reason for hope for the most loyal players: the work of dataminers, who discovered that an update was indeed in the pipeline. But no release before, at best, July, is expected. And there is no guarantee that this is anything other than a series of fixes.
