It's High… Time !

After a discovery behind the scenes of the game during BlizzCon, Team 4 seems ready to show in more detail what Overwatch 2 has in store on the multiplayer side. The PvE part, focused on history and cooperation, had until then been the heart of the communication around this second opus.

For this livestream scheduled for May 20 on the official Overwatch YouTube and Twitch channels, back to basics with two hours entirely devoted to multiplayer. Teams from Overwatch and the Overwatch League will therefore compete in friendly matches to discover what's new in this central aspect for many fans.

This is an opportunity to discover new maps and, for the development team, to come back more precisely to the philosophy behind the changes made to multiplayer for Overwatch 2. Aaron Keller, however, insisted on the fact that what will be presented during this livestream will not be the final version of the game, but rather a preview of the work done so far.

On May 24, the Overwatch development team will also hold an AMA session on Reddit to look back on the five years of a franchise that has left its mark on the gaming world.

Appointment is therefore made for fans desperate to learn more about this (too?) long-awaited sequel.
