"Hello sweetie, the Cavalry is coming!" »

Insistent rumors have been circulating lately about a potential beta version of Overwatch 2 in the coming months. A logical reasoning, since an early version of the game will also be inaugurated in a few weeks on the occasion of the 2022 season of the Overwatch League.

Via a message from the game's official Twitter account, the rumors are now confirmed: a beta is finally looming for Overwatch 2 multiplayer, more precisely at the end of April, and exclusively on PC.

To participate, however, you will have to register on the link cited in the source below (strangely under maintenance at the time of writing these lines). We bet that only a few lucky registrants will have the opportunity to try this new version of multiplayer from its launch, and that Blizzard will gradually open the floodgates to welcome other participants.

As the tweet indicates, this beta will allow us to discover new maps, including some like Rome, Monaco or Toronto, already unveiled during exhibition matches, as well as new modes like Push, also already presented.

The highlight of the show, we will finally be able to discover new heroes, while Echo, the latest, arrived in the roster… in April 2021.
