When released on August 8, 2016, No Man's Sky was not spared by critics as its initial content was disappointing in the face of the disproportionate expectations of players. But over the years, Hello Games' game has picked up the slack and now enjoys great popularity.

Launched on September 1, the Frontiers update for No Man's Sky has once again worked wonders. Thanks to its novelties, this patch has attracted new players and they have left very favorable opinions on the game's Steam page. five years, the title has finally reached the milestone of "rather positive" reviews.

A comeback from outer space

With its recent "very positive" evaluations, No Man' Sky has finally regained its reputation among players. It took two years for the game to obtain opinions classified as “mixed” then three more years to reach the “rather positive” level. Tim Woodley, who works at Hello Games, returned to this real obstacle course.


“Going from 20% to 21% positive reviews may only require a few hundred positive reviews, while going from 69% to 70% required 10 positive reviews. I assumed we might never be able to do that”.


It is therefore a great success for a No Man's Sky which has not finished surprising us.
