Expected at the latest news for August 31 and after a generally well-received closed beta, despite some technical problems, the MMO from Amazon Games, N, is postponed to September 28.

An announcement from the game's official Twitter account, in which the team thanks the many players who have discovered the New World, but believes that they need more time to correct, among other things, the problems reported by them.

The exodus to the New World will have to wait a little longer

The closed beta having closed its doors at the beginning of the week, it seems to have been rich in lessons for Amazon Games. The team thus took the time to digest the numerous feedback from players who had walked the lands of the New World for a few days.

"We want the launch of New World to be the most stable and fun experience possible for everyone, and that means some improvements based on what you encountered during the closed beta," said Amazon Games.

New World is therefore being pushed back an additional month in order to fix bugs and stability issues reported by adventurous colonists, who casually numbered one million and totaled 25 million hours in just a few days. The team also wants to take advantage of this delay to integrate endgame features worthy of the name, necessary for the launch of any self-respecting MMO.

A move that is of course no stranger to New World, let alone Amazon Games in a broader sense. Crucible had in particular paid the price for a too hasty launch. Remember also that New World had already been postponed in February for August 31, precisely.

See you then, if all goes well, on September 28 to tread the lands of the New World, for which we wish a launch that meets the expectations of the team and its future residents.
