A pre-order incentive encourages customers to reserve a copy of a product before it hits the shelves. If you were one of the many people who pre-ordered FIFA 22, you might be wondering when and how your bonus will arrive, especially the most important item of pre-order rewards – the OTW Pre-Order Players Pack. With the launch of the Standard Edition, we've got everything you need to know about FIFA 22 pre-order rewards, how to claim them, and FUT 22 OTW information.
How to Claim FIFA 22 Pre-Order Rewards
FIFA 22 Standard Edition
If you pre-order the standard edition of FIFA 22, you will be able to claim these pre-order incentives from EA:
- TOTW Player Item 1: Untradeable Player Item for FUT
- Article on loan from Kylian Mbappé for 5 FUT matches
- FUT Ambassador Loan Player Choose for 3 FUT matches (choose one from Alaba, Foden and Son)
- Local talent in career mode
FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition
If you pre-order FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition before October 1, you will be able to claim all of these rewards above along with all of the following:
- Untradeable player item to watch from October 1st
- 4 days of early access starting September 27
- 4600 FIFA Points
FUT Heroes Player item, available from December 1st provided you have already pre-ordered this Edition before August 11
If you pre-order FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition and also own the EA Play Pro Edition by October 1, you will be able to claim all of these rewards above along with all of the following:
- Up to 4800 FIFA points (instead of 4600 points) – 1600 per month for 3 months from October 1
- Recurring EA Play member rewards throughout the season
- Ultimate Team Season XP Boosts
- VOLTA FOOTBALL seasonal clothing
- Monthly FUT Customization Items
- Access to other EA games, such as Battlefield 2042 or Madden NFL 22.
- FUT Heroes Player item, available from December 1st
- 9 days of early access starting September 22
Notes:
- If two players share the FIFA 22, only the account purchasing the game will receive the pre-order rewards.
- All rewards will be sent directly to player inventory
- Due to a technical issue when releasing OTW pre-order player packs before OTW launched, some players mistakenly opened it and received a normal card instead of OTW cards. Thus, EA will compensate each player who pre-ordered FIFA 22 an additional pack, whether they opened it or not.
OTW Pre-Order Player Packs can now be opened and will contain the correct items. If you still see an error, exit and re-enter FUT.
Players who have already opened their pack have received a new one which can be opened through the FUT Store.

So what about FIFA 22 One To Watch?
There will be 26 OTW cards in total, split into two teams and four different bundles. Opening OTW pre-order player packs at different times will give you the player in different brackets. For example, if you open the Pack from October 2 to October 10, you will only receive a player from Team 1. Below is the OTW release schedule
- October 2 – October 9: 11 OTW players – Team 1
- October 4 – October 9: Added 3 more OTW players to Team 1, making it 14 OTW players in Team 1
- October 9 – October 14: 11 OTW players – Team 2
- October 9 – October 14: Added 3 more OTW players to Team 2, making it 14 OTW players in Team 2
- After October 14, you will be able to open players from both teams with your packs.
Thus, you have several options to choose from. If you're looking for Cristiano Ronaldo or Varane for your Weekend League next week, you need to redeem your pre-order pack now. But if you're looking for Messi, you should save this pack for later. Or, if you're not in a rush, have a decent squad and want your 2 packs to be CR7 and Messi's walkouts in succession, you can use them after October 14th.
