Presented in October 2020 as a unique map, the mod Return to Rapture d'Half-Life: Alyx is now a full-fledged campaign.
The opportunity to put on your virtual reality headset again and dive back into not one, but two video game masterpieces, all brilliantly mixed in a mod made by the talented wim.buytaert.1988.

Return to a Half-Life of Rapture
In its genesis, Return to Rapture was content to adapt the existing assets of Half-Life: Alyx to stick to the particular atmosphere of Bioshock. But, in order to make this new campaign as credible as possible, Wim Buytaert was able to integrate, with 2K's agreement, more than 200 assets from the original game.
In particular, we can find the machines of the Little Sisters and the sellers of plasmids there. Alyx will thus be able, in a certain way, to take advantage of these famous powers, thanks to a twist that we will be careful not to reveal.
Wim Buytaert has even enlisted the services of a voice actor in order to provide a credible red thread to this brand new campaign, which takes up with religious fidelity emblematic passages from the original game.
It is therefore now possible to subscribe to the eight parts of Return to Rapture on the Steam Workshop in order to (re)discover the emblematic city and a legendary game with another perspective.
