Genshin impact will soon receive the next-gen treatment on PS5 : 4K, better graphics and improved loading times are on the agenda.
It is on the occasion of a trailer that the studio miHoYo announces the very soon arrival of this new generation version, without however specifying a date.

Popular gacha moves to the next generation
For the time being, the most diligent PS5 owners can only play the PS4 version of the game thanks to backward compatibility. But that will change very soon, the free-to-play action-RPG from the Chinese studio miHoYo is about to enter the new generation.
This new version will therefore offer 4K resolution, better textures and significantly shorter loading times thanks to the greater power of the PS5 hardware. Those with a PS4 account will be able to transfer their progress to the PS5 version without transition.
“The PlayStation 5 is the perfect platform to magnify the vast open world portrayed in Genshin Impact. It allows our team to incorporate more ideas into the game, in the short and long term,” said Forrest Liu, President of the Chinese studio miHoYo.
Recall that Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2020 on PS4, PC, Android and iOS, and has already generated the colossal sum of one billion dollars in revenue thanks to the mobile versions alone.
