Before that, World Update 7 will soon offer to fly over an Australia more real than ever.

Flight Simulator is still far from landing

Through a long Q&A session in particular, Microsoft and Asobo detailed what awaited Flight Simulator in the months to come. First, there was talk of World Update 7, expected today. In this one, Australia will be entitled to improvements in its representation with better satellite imagery, points of interest and various more realistic areas to visit.

At the end of March, World Update 8 will focus on Spain and Portugal, while Sim Update 8 finally coming at the beginning of the same month will focus on bug fixes. The stability-focused Sim Update 9 will arrive in April. Still on the content side, in addition to new planes throughout the year, free Top Gun content will be added in May, while gliders and helicopters are expected for the fall.

For PC gamers with Nvidia GPUs, good news is coming: DLSS. The technology is currently being tested by the developers on the DX12 version of the title and Asobo hopes to be able to bring it to everyone this year. What seriously improve the performance and visual quality of the game.
