Square Enix was right! The expansion pre-launch period endwalker due to nombreux soucis de connexion to the players of Final Fantasy XIV. The Japanese publisher has finally spoken on this subject.

This Tuesday, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will be released across the world. But for a few days now, early access has been deployed for players who have pre-ordered this new adventure… At least, in principle. Indeed, connection problems have multiplied following an overload of the different worlds. Thus, it is not easy to play a game without encountering technical problems.

A gift to pass the pill

Faced with these many difficulties and the endless queues for the right to play, Square Enix was forced to react. Final Fantasy XIV director Naoki Yoshida spoke in person. The latter apologizes for the current situation by explaining that all worlds have reached their limit of simultaneous connections and remain permanently overpopulated. This is why the queues are sometimes several hours long.

To compensate, Square Enix will offer seven days of free connection to holders of Final Fantasy XIV in its full version and with an active subscription. This free period will start from December 7th. The free service could even be renewed if the problems were to persist.
