Nothing really new compared to F1 2020… except for ray tracing options.
Recently passed into the purse of Electronic Arts via the acquisition of Codemasters, the official F1 license will for the first time give pride of place to ray tracing according to the hardware recommendations just published.

GeForce RTX et Radeon RX
While the game is scheduled for release on July 16 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, the product page has already been set up on Steam. The opportunity therefore to take stock of the hardware requirements of the game.
Minimum System Requirements
- OS : Windows 10 64-bit (v1709) / Pour le ray tracing Windows 10 64-bit (v2004)
- DirectX 12
- Processor: Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 or AMD R9 280 / For ray tracing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- Disk space: 80 GB
Recommended configuration
- OS : Windows 10 64-bit (v1709) / Pour le ray tracing Windows 10 64-bit (v2004)
- DirectX 12
- Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 590 / For ray tracing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800
- Disk space: 80 GB
As you can see, there is nothing really extravagant and the configurations presented by Codemasters are ultimately quite similar to what was already requested for F1 2020.
As we have already pointed out, the main novelty concerns the presence of remarks related to ray tracing. The hardware requirements then pass a level with RTX from NVIDIA and Radeon RX from AMD.
Of course, we are waiting to see how this will translate ingame, the first illustrations presented by Electronic Arts hardly allowing us to decide.
