In a few days the alpha will end, but the pilots will not have to wait too long to resume service.

After a Kickstarter campaign, Elite Dangerous was released on December 16, 2014. In five years, the game has evolved considerably in order, for example, to allow landing on planets devoid of atmosphere. Baptized "Odyssey", the second extension promises to go further by allowing pilots of all sides to leave their ship to tread the ground of countless galactic stars.

One small step for man

Announced last August, Odyssey has had some slight setbacks, but nothing dramatic and Frontier Developments is happy to point out that it will therefore be available soon before detailing a little the content prepared by its developers.

“Players of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey can customize their character for ground operations with various specialized suits and gear, including the Remlok Maverick Suit
for recovery missions, the Supratech Artemis exploration suit for exobiology research and the Manticore Dominator combat suit for commanders who dare to enter the sphere of combat in the perilous Conflict Zones”.

In addition to specifying that the release will take place on May 19, Frontier Developments indicates that it only concerns the PC version of the game for the time being and that Odyssey will logically be available on Steam, Epic Games Store and FrontierStore.net.
