Dragon Age: an artwork to excuse the silence around the next opus

It is really desirable that one! More than two and a half years after its announcement, the teams behind Dragon Age 4 did not share any gameplay images. For now, we have to make do with teasers and other illustrations that are not very representative of the final experience.

Communication around the game should not improve in the coming weeks. Indeed, Bioware has already confirmed the absence of Dragon Age (and Mass Effect) during the EA Play Live conference on July 22. Fans have reason to be disappointed, but the Canadian studio has tried to make amends by publishing a new visual for the fourth installment in the saga. Alas, it doesn't tell us much...

A little artwork and then it's gone

Posted by Christian Dailey (Executive Producer at Bioware) on Twitter, the artwork in question seems to highlight the Antivan Ravens faction. It was briefly introduced in the first Dragon Age before appearing in comics and novels. They are a group of spies and assassins operating on the continent of Thedas.


Dailey's tweet is also very reassuring about the development of Dragon Age 4 which would progress extremely well. Beautiful words that do not change the fact that the game has so far shown nothing of its potential. You will have to be patient...
