About a year after its release, the excellent DOOM Eternal will bow out with its second all-single-player DLC. This will be revealed a little more in a few days.

After the launch of the first part at the end of 2020, episode 2 of the DLC titled The Ancient Gods will soon arrive on all media. This will be the perfect opportunity to relaunch the FPS signed id Software. In 2020, DOOM Eternal received critical and gamer acclaim for its high-paced yet highly demanding gameplay. In just one week, the app had sold 3 million copies worldwide. Last February, the game had even generated 450 million dollars in revenue.

A DLC that has not yet shown everything

History to capitalize on this success, id Software has therefore chosen to emphasize the single player with additional content. Named The Ancient Gods, this additional chapter will close with its second episode which will be released shortly. Bethesda Softworks has uploaded a short teaser ahead of the big presentation scheduled for March 17, 2021. We should also find out the release date at that time.

Remember that DOOM Eternal is included in the Xbox Game Pass. At the moment, the game has not yet been optimized for next-gen consoles, but that should be soon. The upgrade will be free for all owners of a physical or dematerialized copy.
