Destiny 2: there is indeed an end-of-season event, but it is buggy

Next week, Destiny 2 will receive its new expansion titled The Witch Queen. While waiting for the release of the DLC, Bungie has launched an event that comes to close the current season. Unfortunately, annoying bugs affect this new mission.

With a record duration in the history of Destiny 2, the Season of the Departed is about to bow out as the expansion The Witch Queen approaches, which will be released on February 22nd. In order to set the stage, Bungie launched the Exorcism quest to wrap up the seasonal story in style. By finishing it, the players become aware of major script elements.

A slightly buggy destiny

Unfortunately, many players were unable to complete this famous mission. Indeed, several concerns have been reported in recent hours. For example, a script that allows a door to open does not fire. The Guardians are then blocked without having the possibility of advancing. Moreover, some explain that the questline refuses to go to the second stage despite the mission being completed.

For now, there really isn't a silver bullet except to rerun the event until it finally works. It is still advisable not to skip the cinematic broadcast at the end of the quest because it could be partly responsible for the bug.
