The studio promised us an exciting campaign that will immerse players in the Throne World of Savathûn. This place, both "twisted in corruption and splendor", already promises some anthology sequences. In terms of gameplay, new features have also slipped into the DLC.
For example, we can craft weapons by combining different modifications. In addition, a new type of weapon called Glaive will be included. These hybrid weapons will make it possible to perform both melee and ranged attacks via projectiles. They can also deploy an energy shield to protect their bearer.

Bungie has informed us that Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will be released on February 22, 2022 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The most impatient can pre-order the extension in order to obtain various in-game bonuses, including the Enigma Exotic emote, an emblem or even an exotic Ghost Shell. As for the Deluxe Edition, it unlocks access to seasons 16, 17, 18 and 19 as well as two dungeons from Year 5. A collector's edition was also announced during Bungie's live. It will contain the statuette of a Ghost and other bonuses that have not yet been detailed.
Also, an in-game event will celebrate Bungie's 30th anniversary in Destiny 2. A pack containing various bonuses (dungeon, armor set, ornaments, cosmetic elements, etc.) will be on sale in December. In the latter, we will find in particular an emblematic weapon of the first opus: the Gjallarhorn. In addition, it is now possible to play with friends in cross-play.
As for the Season of the Disappeared, it begins this August 24, 2021 and will end on February 22, 2022. Finally, the last chapter that will complete the saga of Light and Darkness is called Destiny 2: The Final Form. It will be released after Lightfall, the extension that will be launched after The Witch Queen. But Bungie promised, Destiny 2 won't stop there.
