Available since September 24, Death Stranding: Director's Cut is an exclusive PS5. And, according to the latest news, Kojima Productions' game should remain so... Unless?

According to well-known redditors, the Steam version of the world's best hiking game has recently received a series of small updates, even though hardly any patches have been released for Death Stranding since its release on PC in the summer of 2020.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut ready to run aground on PC

If this new version of Kojima's game obviously takes advantage of the new features of the PlayStation 5 (in particular the adaptive triggers, although the result is far from meeting expectations), it also brings some small additions in terms of content and of gameplay.

We note in particular the availability of new accessories to facilitate, or at least to diversify the deliveries that we make in the skin of Sam Porter Bridges, or the appearance of a shooting range and motor racing circuits (? ??). In short: a more complete edition of the game originally released in November 2019, which it would be very surprising not to see land on PC sooner or later.

And as if to "confirm" it, remember that Death Stranding: Director's Cut was part of NVIDIA's massive GeForce Now app leak last month. A listing of more than 18 games, many of which, according to the company, are placeholders. But when we cross this with the findings of redditors, who also noticed that Kojima Productions was working on an update of the PC version since September 000st, and which is still in progress at the time of this writing , we can look forward to the next few months with more certainty.
