Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Livestream Postponed to June 25

Developer CD Projekt Red has made the difficult decision to postpone the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire live stream to June 25 in support of the current Black Lives Matter protests currently underway in the United States. Originally slated for next Thursday, we'll now have to wait until the end of the month for more Cyberpunk 2077 news, information, and gameplay.

Announced in a tweet, CD Projekt Red said: "We have decided to move Night City Wire to June 25th. We are always looking forward to sharing new information about CP'77, but larger discussions are taking place at this time and we want them to be heard against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.”

We have decided to move Night City Wire to June 25. We're always eager to share new information about CP'77, but bigger discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We unreservedly oppose racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.—Cyberpunk 2077 (@CyberpunkGame) June 2, 2020

The publisher has joined Sony in pushing back its event so that more important voices can be heard in these difficult times. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4 on September 17, 2020.
