CrossfireX: good news for Game Pass subscribers

It is in almost total silence that CrossfireX will land on Xbox consoles next week. Fortunately, subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will have the opportunity to test the FPS without spending a penny (or almost).

Thus, CrossfireX is a kind of hybrid project, since two studios are at work. We find Smilegate at the controls of the multiplayer, which will be available in free-to-play, and Remedy Entertainment (Alan Wake, Control) on the side of the campaign. It is the latter that will interest us today, since it will enter the Xbox Game Pass in an unconventional way.

A “free” appetizer

Indeed, the solo will be divided into two distinct portions. The first, entitled Operation Catalyst, will immerse the player in the heart of the unit of Global Risk. The latter will aim to save one of her comrades while uncovering the mysteries of the Black List group. This part will be offered to Xbox Game Pass members… Which will not be the case for the second, called Operation Spectre.

Players who want to experience the single-player campaign in its entirety will need to purchase the CrossfireX Ultimate Pack. Sold at 24,99 euros, it also includes the premium battle pass for the first season and a Gatling Golden Wing weapon. See you on February 10 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for the release of the game.
