Announced for September on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the open beta of Battlefield 2042 could be closer than we think, according to the leak of an Italian site.
In a Media World listing, it is indeed announced that it will take place from September 6 to 11.

On the occasion of EA Play last July, the American giant announced that the new episode of DICE's flagship FPS franchise would be entitled to an open beta during the month of September. If it was still too early to tell and if we had not had new information since then, the fuse would have been sold via the Media World site.
A promotional image of the PS5 version of Battlefield 2042 reads in Italian as follows:
"Pre-order this product by September 3 and you'll receive access to the game's beta scheduled for September 6-11." Information to be taken with tweezers, however, since it is not an official announcement.
However, it has been confirmed by Electronic Arts that those who pre-order Battlefield 2042, regardless of platform, will have early access to the open beta. The final version of the game is expected on October 22 on consoles and PC, or on October 15 for holders of the Gold and Ultimate editions.
