Our articles on Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown: Multiplayer, Battle Royal and Deathmatch While Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be released on January 18 for console players (PS4 and Xbox One) and on PC on February 1 , we present to you the multiplayer game modes available at the game's release.

The new installment of the Ace Combat saga, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown arrives on January 18 for console players (PS4 and Xbox One) and on PC on February 1 and obviously a multiplayer game mode will be set up. We present to you the different options available when the game is released.

Le mode Team Deathmatch

The Team Deathmatch game mode is quite classic for the world of video games: two teams of 4 players will compete in different combat zones (Stage) with a score and time limit.

The different courses revealed for the moment:

โ†’ Fort Grays Island : A combat zone above the sea and having a large cloud layer to protect you or engage the enemy by surprise.

โ†’ Annchorhead Bay : A night combat zone above a large metropolis with tall buildings.

โ†’ Waiapolo Moutains : A course based in the heart of a mountainous area with many peaks and valleys with again a cloudy layer to protect you.

โ†’ Yinshi Valley (Morning): Again a combat zone with lots of rocky peaks and ravines.

โ†’ Yinshi Valley (Night): Same zone as the previous one with however limited visibility at night and a significant cloud layer (and the presence of lightning).

โ†’ Red rock : A desert combat area with high visibility and terrain providing little protection.

Note that if Ace Combat 6 had a limit of 16 players, AC7 will only have 8 players (at least for the console versions).

Battle Royal Mode

No, Ace Combat 7 will not have a Battle Royale mode, the aerial combat game has not fallen into the BR mode. The saga has been using the term Battle Royal for years (without the e on AC7) to refer to a Deathmatch FFA game mode (everyone for themselves).

The rules are as follows:

โ†’ 8 players compete in FFA on the same map

โ†’ The game ends after a certain score for a player or on a time limit

โ†’ If a player is downed, he must wait a few seconds before reappearing randomly on the map

โ†’ Each player has a number of points to limit the customization of his plane

โ†’ The maps will be the same as for the TDM mode

As a reminder, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be released on January 18 for console players (PS4 and Xbox One) and on PC on February 1. Do not hesitate to consult our other articles on AC7 present on our portal.
