The Ace Combat saga is well known for its story (in the campaign mode) but also for its many challenges and challenges present during the adventure. Note that to unlock the presence of Aces, you will have to replay the campaign on normal or higher difficulty and potentially redo certain missions several times since some missions have several Aces (such as mission 12).

Mission 1 : Charge Assault

 Avion: MiG-21

 code name: Pyro

Destroy the third wave of enemies using AAM (air-to-air) missiles, the Ace will then spawn to the northwest along with the fourth wave.

Mission 2 : Charge the enemy

 Avion: MiG-29

 code name: jester


After destroying all the radar control vehicles, also destroy the control tower before the drones arrive. JESTER then appears on the track near the drones.


Mission 3 : Two-pronged Strategy

 Aircraft: F-16C

 code name: BAYONET

Eliminate all enemies in less than 90 seconds (before the timer displays 18:30) to spawn BAYONET in the northwest of the map.

Mission 4 : Rescue

 Aircraft: F-15J

 code name: RONIN

Fly below 200 meters until the radio silence ends, RONIN will spawn northeast after the first cutscene.

Mission 5 : 444

 Aircraft: F-15C

 code name: FANG

Take at least 75% damage while your weapons are disabled. After shooting down the first three bombers, FANG appears in the middle of the map.

Mission 6 : Long Day

 Aircraft: F-14D

 code name: KITTEN


All the way west of the map, find the tunnel near the base and go inside to spawn KITTEN southwest of your location.


Mission 7 : First Contact

 Plane: Typhoon

 code name: FALCON

Destroy all unmarked enemies (TGT) during the first part of the mission, FALCON will then appear in the north of the map.

Mission 8 : Pipeline Destruction

 Aircraft: F-15E

 code name: GAZELLE

Destroy all the oil structures before the end of the timer to make GAZELLE appear to the north with the drones.

Mission 9 : Faceless Soldier

 Avion : F/A-18F

 code name: SPIDER


Eliminate the majority of unmarked enemies as well as all radar installations. SPIDER will be visible to the east of the map.

Mission 10 : Transfer Orders

 Avion: GRIPEN E

 code name: LOUVETEAU

Destroy all the SAM missiles as quickly as possible in order to make CUP appear, which will be escorted by three Mirage 2000s to the east of the map.


Mission 11 : Fleet Destruction

 Plane: SU-33

 code name: ibis

On the platforms located to the north, fly between the structures at the level of the cores to spawn IBIS to the west of the fleet.

Destroy all fighters before they take off from the platform to the north. HUNTER will be located west of the area.

Mission 12 : Stonehenge Defensive

 Plane: SU-34

 code name: WALRUS

Protect Stonehenge which must not be touched. WALRUS will then appear to the northeast with the wave of helicopters.

Fly under (and near) a Stonehenge railgun to spawn LIGHTNING in the south of the map.

Destroy the three A-10Cs coming from the east, BUFFALO will fly over the area southwest of Stonehenge.

Mission 13: Bunker Buster

 Avion: MiG-31

 code name: COMET

Quickly destroy the missile silos, COMET will fly west after the mission objective update.

Mission 14 : Cape Rainy Assault

 Plane: Su-47

 code name: GADFLY

Take all the risks to cross the canyon as quickly as possible, GADFLY will be in the middle of the wave of Su-35S which appears in the north.

Mission 15 : Battle for Farbanti

 Plane: Su-37

 code name: SNAKE

Obtain 5000 more points than the prerequisite for the first part of the mission to spawn SNAKE in the middle of a wave located in the southeast of the map.

 Aircraft: F-2A

 code name: BOGEN

Destroy the Aegis Ashore near the command point at the end of the first part of the mission to spawn BOGEN who will head south of the map.

Mission 16 : Last Hope

 Aircraft: Su-35S

 code name: AXEMAN

Obtain at least 10 points to spawn AXEMAN. Be careful, he will not be displayed as an opponent (he spawns in the southeast of the city).

Mission 17 : Homeward

 Aircraft: F-35C

 code name: MANTIS

In the first part of the mission, locate and fly over the rail (for a few seconds). MANTIS will be accompanied by bombers and other fighter waves to the east of the map.

Mission 18 : Last Kingdom

 Aircraft: YF-23

 code name: LYNX

Destroy enemy aircraft before reaching the castle in less than two minutes and thirty seconds (150 seconds total). LYNX will appear near the castle, around the same time as the wave of F-16s appear.

Mission 19 : Lighthouse

 Plane: Su-57

 code name: CALAMITY

Obtain at least 17 points during the first part of the mission in order to spawn CALAMITY southeast of the elevator. The device is stealthy so you will have to approach to find it, it flies in the direction of the south.

 code name: TEMPEST

Get 20 points during the first part of the mission to spawn TEMPEST which will engage your nearby allies.

After shooting down all those Aces, you will also get an exclusive skin on the X-02, the secret plane to unlock by completing the campaign for a total of 2 million MRP.
